For over 10 years I have been performing, composing and mastering various projects of my own and for others.
In 2008 I wrote and recorded Cursed Legacy‘s Death of a Hero on an 8-track reel recorder. The small but humble beginnings of the band has lead me into the full-blown production of Lunar Isolation; a rock musical featuring many special guests. The first single “Time to Go” was released last year.
As a multi-instrumentalist and composer, I lend my hands to various bands and artists as a session musician, which has intertwined with my design career, designing for many of the projects I have created or those I have worked with.
I have privately offered a mastering service for a selection of artists, maintaining the highest dynamic range possible and refusing to bow into the loudness war that the modern music industry is facing.

WHAT CRITICS ARE SAYING:
“Cask Thomson provides a unique and awe-inspiring way around the fret
board and his song writing skills are very impressive. Upon listening to his
tracks you tend to walk away and study the words in your head. It is very
understandable that he aims to make you think differently about the
world and its misfortune”
CHRIS RIETZ – MUSICHOUND
“It’s not just a wealth of musical styles or his smooth and expressive
voice that have made Thomson such a fine artist. His songs, which
range from thoughtful to heavy to poetic, show that he knows exactly
what he wants to achieve in this world”
JOHN GARRITY – CAPITAL TIMES
“A modern twist on acts like Genesis, Yes, Rick Wakeman and King Crimson” – CLASSIC ROCK MAGAZINE AUSTRALIA (on Cursed Legacy)
